Job Summary

  • Madisonville Community College is seeking applicants for part-time faculty positions in the following areas:
  • Medical Lab Technology
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Paramedic
  • Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Radiography
  • Respiratory Care
  • Surgical Technology/First Assistant

Job Duties:

  • Part-Time instruction.
  • To become proficient in multiple delivery methods including face-to-face day and evening, hybrid, accelerated, and online course modalities and may require travel to multiple campuses or teaching sites.
  • Possess professionalism and exemplary communication and presentation skills.
  • Foster an active and inclusive learning environment and utilizing our learning management system (Blackboard) for communication and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in teaching discipline or a Master's degree that includes at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Community college teaching experience is preferred. The successful applicant must possess professionalism and exemplary communication and presentation skills.  

Job Specific Qualifications

Paramedic/EMT:
Appropriate degree or certificate for licensure as AEMT or Paramedic Initial with current ACLS and PALS certification and Level II or Level III Instructor through KBEMS. The successful candidate must seek Level III Instructor. Preferred, Associate degree in paramedic, previous collegiate teaching experience, and Level III Instructor through KBEMS
PTA:
Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Kentucky and have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and three years of clinical experience as a physical therapist and experience in teaching (classroom, clinical, in-service and/or presentation of continuing education courses).
