Job description

Are you a natural relationship builder who loves connecting with people and making a difference? Visiting Angels Nashville is looking for a Community Care Liaison to help grow our business while helping families find the right care for their loved ones.

This is a relationship-driven sales and client care position. You’ll build referral relationships throughout the community, connect with hospitals, physicians, senior living communities, rehabilitation centers, and other senior-care professionals, and guide families through the process of finding quality in-home care. The job will consist of

What You'll Do

  • Build and nurture referral relationships throughout Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
  • Get out in the community through visits, networking, events, and educational opportunities.
  • Respond quickly to new client inquiries and guide families through their care options.
  • Conduct in-home consultations.
  • Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through start of care.
  • Follow up with new clients to ensure a positive experience and strong retention.
  • Work closely with Scheduling, Recruiting, and Operations to ensure new opportunities can be appropriately staffed.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and track lead, conversion, referral, and growth metrics.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Personable, confident, compassionate, and comfortable building relationships.
  • Motivated by both purpose and performance.
  • Organized, self-directed, and excellent at follow-through.
  • Comfortable talking with families during difficult and emotional situations.
  • Confident with consultative sales without being pushy or transactional.
  • Comfortable spending significant time out in the community.
  • Experienced in healthcare, senior care, home care, sales, business development, or referral-based services.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in home care, senior services, healthcare, care coordination, consultative sales, business development, or another referral-based healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust with older adults, families, and professional referral sources.
  • Ability to guide families through decisions without using high-pressure sales tactics.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, scheduling platforms, and industry-related software.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and required automobile insurance.
  • Ability to successfully complete applicable background screening, training, health, certification, and continuing-compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social services, business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Previous private-duty home care experience.
  • Existing relationships within Nashville's healthcare, senior-care, or community-service network.
  • Experience conducting in-home consultations or assessments.
