Assistant Community Manager - 40 hrs./wk. - 172 units - The Farmstead on Falls - Grafton, Wisconsin

The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property including sales/leasing, marketing, resident relations, facilities management, personnel management, and other associated property management duties. Prior Excellent customer service, communication and effective problem-solving skills are essential. This position requires the ability to work independently, use effective communication skills, and making sound decisions on behalf of the property.
The ideal candidate will have/exhibit:
  • A minimum of two years of on-site property management experience handling a site of comparable size OR an associate degree in sales, marketing, or related field preferred plus a minimum of two year of on-site property management experience of comparable size preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of providing excellent customer service and sales experience required.
  • The ability to multi-task, and/or make independent decisions in a fast-paced customer service-oriented work environment is required.
  • The ability to communicate professionally and tactfully.
  • A successful track record of management experience and accomplishments required.
  • A minimum of two years of Supervisory experience, with progressively increased responsibilities, and a successful track record of positive team leadership/collaboration required.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent software required.
  • Property Management Certification and current knowledge of applicable housing laws and leasing agreements preferred.
  • Knowledge of or the ability to interpret accounting and/or financial information preferred.
  • Prior use of Real Page Property Management software preferred.
  • The ability to effectively and positively collaborate and communicate with others is required.
  • The ability to collaborate, and/or make independent decisions, and the ability to effectively solve problems is required.

Full-time hours are 40 hours/week (Mid-morning with late afternoon/early evening until 6:00 p.m.) and shortened Saturday hours (4 hrs.). Rotational on call (estimated once every five to seven weeks). We offer a competitive wage between $26-$28/hour based on experience plus excellent lease bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefit package including Health, dental, 401K, Flex Spending Accounts, Paid time off, Holiday pay, training/seminars, tuition reimbursement, and business mileage reimbursement.
