### Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Communications Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting communication systems, including voice, data, and video equipment. The Communications Technician will also work closely with engineers and other technicians to support the design and implementation of various communication technologies.

### Key Responsibilities:

- **Installation and Maintenance:**
- Install, test, and maintain communications equipment and systems, including telecommunication systems, LAN/WAN networks, and video conferencing technology.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on communication systems to ensure optimal functionality.

- **Troubleshooting:**
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to communication devices, cabling, and network systems.
- Respond to service requests and outages in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

- **Documentation:**
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and configuration changes to communication systems.
- Create and update technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, equipment specifications, and service manuals.

- **Collaboration:**
