 Summer Audiology Intern


Position Type: Temporary / Internship (May - August 2026)

Location: In Person


About the Role:

We're looking for a motivated audiology student to join our team for the summer! This internship offers hands-on experience in a clinical setting where you'll work alongside licensed audiologists and gain exposure to patient care, audiological testing, tele-audiology, and day-to-day clinic operations. It's a great opportunity to build real-world skills while making a meaningful impact on patients' lives.


What You'll Do:


Assist with clinic opening and closing procedures, including equipment setup and preparation

Support patient scheduling and check-in, including managing walk-ins and troubleshooting scheduling issues

Observe and assist with audiological tests under the supervision of licensed audiologists

Help facilitate tele-audiology appointments in coordination with remote team members

Serve as a friendly first point of contact for patients, providing excellent service in person and over the phone

Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment

Support HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions and documentation

Assist with office supply inventory, patient paperwork, and third-party financing inquiries

Participate in team meetings, daily huddles, and community outreach activities


What We're Looking For:


Currently enrolled in or recently completed an Audiology (AuD) program or related field of study

Interest in clinical audiology and patient care

Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative

Comfortable working in a multicultural environment

Experience with EMR software (such as Counsel Ear) is a plus but not required

Medical Assistant certification or Certified Audiology Assistant credential is a plus
