Job description

We’re searching for a highly qualified project manager to help us maintain our position as an innovative and growing business. The ideal candidate will have accounts receivable industry experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing project plans. The project manager will lead the Information Technology Work Order Prioritization Role, along with other projects, presenting updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring our goal of innovation is being achieved. This position will be responsible to oversee Business Analysts’ gathering requirements from Business Owners and work with each Support Department to ensure that deliverables satisfy the Business Requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage cross-functional project management for ConServe’s initiatives, such as large compliance-related projects, onboarding of new major Clients, and technology-related initiatives.
  • Tailor project management strategies to align with requirements and objectives to each project.
  • Create and manage the full suite of project management documentation including project plan creation.
  • Leverage common project management tools and techniques to assist with project organization, project execution, project communication, and project scope and risk management (e.g., Gantt charts, Kanban boards, Work breakdown structures, RAID logs, critical path method, etc.)
  • Engage with all stakeholders and subject matter experts. Provide clear, timely, and actionable project status reporting to sponsors and executive stakeholders to support informed decision‑making.
  • Drive the targeted project milestones/deliverables, communicate project status to project sponsors, ensure that projects stay on scope and any project risks are managed with the appropriate executives.
  • Successfully deliver assigned projects on time, within approved scope, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met with minimal escalation through proactive risk and dependency management.
  • Ensure that all projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and adhering to established operating parameters; negotiates changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines
  • Execute projects in full adherence to ConServe’s Professional Practices Management System (PPMS), Compliance Program, and Code of Conduct.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree (in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Information Technology or related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Professional project management certification (such as PMP, ScrumMaster (CSM), or PRINCE2)

Skills/ Requirements:

  • Four or more years of project management experience
  • Experience in Accounts Receivables industry preferred
  • Experience leading and managing large, complex, cross-functional projects including organizing, planning and executing business and IT projects from vision through implementation.
  • Proficient with Project Management software, including Microsoft Project and Planner
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project frameworks and IT System Development Lifecycle
  • Experience as a Business Analyst, Portfolio/Project Manager or related position in a financial services industry preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and manage expectations and needs of external project resources, including ConServe Clients and/or vendors
  • Proven track record in working across organization boundaries in establishing and managing a portfolio of work while driving continuous improvement opportunities
  • Ability to multitask, team player with a focus on results and fostering partnerships
  • Strong written and oral communication skills - ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ability to communicate effectively with highly technical resources
  • Negotiation and conflict management experience
  • Organization and planning skills
  • U.S. Citizenship or lawful Permanent Resident alien with three or more years as a permanent resident in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance
  • No conflicts of interest with ConServe or our Clients
