Griffin Industries is currently seeking a team-focused, driven, results oriented Project Manager who has the desire to contribute to our continued success. From foundry selection, foundry tool design and build, casting inspection, to fully machined castings the Project Manager will oversee every step along the way while keeping the customer informed of project status.


The successful candidate will be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects to ensure their successful completion within the customer’s deadline. This role requires someone who can coordinate outside vendors as well as our internal Griffin Team, collaborate resources to solve problems, and ensure projects stay on budget and on time.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with customer to understand the scope of the project, communicate updates, resolve issues, and build the customer relationship.
  • Manage multiple projects anticipating and resolving issues by communicating and working with the customer, vendors, and the Griffin Team.
  • Provide input and potential problem solutions to project team members.
  • Document, communicate, and execute changes in the scope of the project.
  • Develop new business opportunities through building strong customer relationships by excellent project communication and execution.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology or related field.
  • Prior experience in project management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work under stress and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with project management tools including a working knowledge of MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Have a basic knowledge of GD&T
  • Knowledge of foundry tooling, Magma, CNC machining a plus.
