Portfolio Manager - Unified Communications

We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to drive planning, prioritization, governance, and execution across Sangoma's Unified Communications portfolio, including UCaaS, CCaaS, SIP Trunking, Managed Connectivity, and related communication solutions.

Your Role:

  • Assess new feature requests, changes, and initiatives for business value, scope, effort, risk, dependencies, and delivery impact.
  • Support portfolio intake, triage, prioritization, and governance processes across multiple streams of work.
  • Partner with business, product, and technology leaders to support planning, sequencing, and trade-off decisions.
  • Coordinate across teams to manage cross-functional dependencies, blockers, and readiness for delivery.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to delivery teams and Scrum Masters to strengthen planning, execution discipline, and team effectiveness.
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve delivery operating models, governance routines, standards, and ways of working to create consistency across the delivery organization.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting for roadmap health, milestones, dependencies, RAID items, capacity, and delivery progress.
  • Facilitate governance forums and ensure decisions, actions, and follow-ups are clearly documented and tracked.
  • Support planning and execution of programs and cross-team initiatives from initiation through delivery.
  • Promote practical use of workflow tools and delivery management practices, including Jira, Confluence, Kanban boards, and related reporting structures.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Portfolio Management, Program Management, PMO Leadership, Product Operations, Agile Operations, or a related strategic planning function.
  • Proven experience managing complex portfolios, programs, or cross-functional initiatives in SaaS, cloud communications, telecommunications, or technology environments.
  • Strong experience with portfolio governance, roadmap planning, prioritization frameworks, capacity planning, and investment decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess new work requests, evaluate trade-offs, and support executive-level prioritization decisions.
  • Experience building executive dashboards and reporting for portfolio health, delivery progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource utilization.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery models.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, portfolio reporting, and workflow management tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across business and technical teams.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including ROI analysis, budgeting considerations, and strategic planning.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in Unified Communications, UCaaS, CCaaS, VoIP, SIP Trunking, Contact Center, telecommunications, or cloud communications industries.
    • Experience supporting product organizations with recurring revenue and SaaS business models.
    • SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or similar certifications.
    • Experience supporting global product and engineering organizations.
