Job Description

As an Internal Communications Manager supporting our Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization, you will lead our internal communications efforts for the business unit. You will use communications tools, resources, and your own ingenuity to foster understanding, culture, connections, and results. By supporting the ISC function, you will be the communications expert working for and with our Chief Supply Chain Officer and ISC leadership team. You will bring your best ideas to deliver meaningful content to employees and external audiences, including suppliers, distributor partners, customers, manufacturing associates, and other employees within ISC.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications and is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Be an important voice for employees and our communications strategy for the Integrated Supply Chain leadership team.
  • Promote employee engagement and action planning in partnership with Integrated Supply Chain business leaders.
  • Support planning, communications, and delivery of quarterly global employee town hall meetings, including slide presentations, run-of-show documents, talking points, and post-event messaging. Work with the Integrated Supply Chain leadership team and event production teams to produce hybrid meetings.
  • Help build the Integrated Supply Chain brand as an employee destination of choice.
  • Create and orchestrate critical supply chain messaging across the Rockwell Automation enterprise.
  • Support change management of our Reimagined Supply Chain Strategy.
  • Be a creator of high-quality content across all internal digital and printed channels.
  • Be an individual contributor on a global team with impact.
  • Develop communication plans, messaging, and announcements for organizational changes and leadership appointments.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, supply chain, or the equivalent
  • 3+ years' experience in communications, marketing, journalism, business administration, or related field
  • Communications strategy experience
  • Executive communications and leadership counsel
  • Project management skills
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain and its relationship to suppliers and customers
  • Experience in a range of communication roles, including internal communications. This experience could include consulting experiences involving strategic planning and tactical implementation, creative and conceptual communications, digital campaign development, project management, or business-focused employee communications
  • Experience developing multi-channel communications and change management programs
  • Experience communicating to manufacturing or other deskless employees
  • Collaborator and team player with the ability to navigate a complex, global organization
  • Experience supporting crisis communications
  • A continuous improvement mindset
