Job description

FamilySearch is expanding messaging to diverse audiences and needs a strong communicator to help shape the new strategy. You will develop and execute communication and marketing plans for patrons worldwide to discover, gather, connect, and unite their families. This intern will be responsible for assisting in marketing and project management tasks, including writing presentations and project proposals, tracking results, and working independently as well as a team on other projects and tasks. The ideal candidate should be creative, solution-oriented, data-driven and have excellent communication skills. The length of the internship will be one year.

Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.

Maintain a big-picture understanding of FamilySearch communication strategies and channels, for both external and internal audiences

Work closely with various teams to develop and execute communication plans

Assist in writing project plans for marketing initiatives and activities

Assist with project management tasks, including tracking timelines and deadlines

Work with team members to draft presentations and marketing concepts

Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions and ideation

Assist with other duties as assigned
