We are focused on delivering exceptional food, premium beverages, and an elevated guest experience in a fast-paced, welcoming environment. Position Summary
The Barista / Smoothie Specialist is responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, smoothies, and specialty drinks while providing outstanding hospitality to every guest. This role is ideal for energetic individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy interacting with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences while helping establish The Common Good as a premier destination for healthy, premium food and beverages in downtown Pittsburgh.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, teas, and other beverages according to company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked beverage station.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Educate guests on menu offerings and make recommendations when appropriate.
  • Accurately process orders and payments through the POS system.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
