  • Join the busy practice of 1 Cardiothoracic Surgeon & 1 APP

  • *Experience of at least 100 vein harvests is required

  • 1:2 call. APP's are called in on average of 10-15 times/year for a procedure. Call is 10 days/month

  • Full range of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, & EP working together with cardiac surgery & vascular surgery services

  • Cardiology team consists of 10 physicians, 7 APP's, and 10 fellows

  • Located atMercyOneNorth Iowa Medical Center- 342 bed regional referral teaching hospital

  • Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 staffed ED and hospitalist services, helicopter, andstate-of-the-artcathlabs

  • The physicians& staffare committed to providing patient care that is compassionate,appropriate, and effective for the treatment of cardiovascular disease & the promotion of good health!

Opportunity Details
  • Competitive guaranteed base salary starting at $180,905/year! + $25kstartingbonus! + $30-35k call pay/year- over $235k package in year 1!

    • Call Pay- $150 daily rate; $250 Saturday/Sunday/holidays

    • +$300 for procedure call in (~10-15/year)

    • $30-35k minimum call pay/year on-top of base salary

  • Full benefits package, including paid malpractice & tail coverage, $3,000/year CME, 34 days of PTO/year, health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, generous employer retirement contribution, etc.
