Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $37.00/hr.

Position Overview
The Supply Management Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining supplier relationships, supporting procurement and commodity management activities, analyzing supply chain data, and leading initiatives to improve supplier performance in quality, delivery, and cost.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve quality and delivery performance.
  • Support multi-functional procurement teams responsible for commodity management activities related to quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Assist with the negotiation of supply agreements as needed.
  • Analyze supply chain data using established tools and reporting formats to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead efforts to resolve ongoing supplier performance issues.
  • Develop and monitor supplier and inventory plans to mitigate supply risk while maintaining targeted inventory levels.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Materials Management, Supply Management, Material Flow, Production Planning, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • 2+ years of experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, high-impact environments while demonstrating strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading projects or initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment and proactively take on additional responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated success driving business or process improvements through data analysis.
  • Experience managing international supplier relationships involving complex commodities and high levels of spend.
