Job Title: SAP Commodity Management Consultant

Start Date: Late Q1 2026
Duration: 6 months + extensions

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a senior SAP Commodity Management (CM) Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Commodity Management solutions. This role will focus on commodity pricing, risk exposure, and end-to-end lifecycle management, working closely with business stakeholders and integrated SAP modules.

The ideal consultant brings strong functional expertise in SAP CM, understands real-world commodity markets, and can translate complex pricing and risk requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Commodity Management processes aligned to business requirements

  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and produce detailed functional specifications

  • Integrate SAP Commodity Management with SAP MM, SD, and Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) to support the full commodity lifecycle

  • Support commodity pricing, exposure tracking, hedge management, and valuation processes

  • Advise on best practices for commodity risk mitigation, valuation methods, and compliance

  • Support testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT

  • Develop user documentation and support end-user training

  • Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Commodity Management or closely related SAP solutions

  • Strong understanding of commodity pricing models, risk management, and hedging concepts

  • Proven experience configuring and integrating SAP CM with MM, SD, and TRM

  • Experience working in complex, enterprise SAP environments

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technical teams

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM)

  • Exposure to commodity trading, energy, utilities, or manufacturing environments

  • SAP S/4HANA experience, including familiarity with Fiori applications

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
