As an ABEC Manufacturing Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in assembling and fabricating high-quality mechanical systems using cutting-edge equipment. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-driven and high-performance environment with the opportunity to contribute to both traditional manufacturing and cleanroom settings. What You’ll Do

  • Fabricate and assemble equipment with precision, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Work with a variety of hand tools, fabrication equipment, and measuring devices
  • Perform stainless steel fabrication including:
    • Tube cutting
    • Grinding
    • Polishing
    • Bending
    • Assembly
  • Install and maintain utility and service lines
  • Cross train in a Cleanroom environment
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Guidelines (GDLs)
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards - right the first time
  • Complete build documentation clearly and accurately
  • Work in cleanroom environments while adhering to strict procedures
  • Operate overhead cranes and/or forklifts (as needed)
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
  • Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Travel when required to support projects or training
Requirements:


What You Need to Bring


1–2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or fabrication work, or a cleanroom

  • Comfortable using hand tools and basic fabrication equipment
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
  • Basic understanding of blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform active work
  • Willingness to wear required PPE and cleanroom gear
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Trade qualifications (Pipefitter, Plumber, Mechanic)
  • Experience with stainless steel welding and polishing
  • Cleanroom experience
  • Experience working with quality documentation and audits
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean, or Six Sigma
