General Laborer

Hayes Manufacturing, Pineville, LA

Position Overview

A General Laborer supports daily production operations within a manufacturing facility. This role involves hands-on work such as material handling, equipment assistance, basic assembly, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Ideal candidates are reliable, safety‑minded, and comfortable working in an industrial setting.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Operate basic manufacturing or fabrication equipment under supervision.
  • Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
  • Assist machine operators, welders, fabricators, or technicians as needed.
  • Perform general assembly, packaging, or finishing tasks depending on department needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including sweeping, debris removal, and organizing tools.
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
  • Inspect materials or finished products for quality concerns and report issues.
  • Support production teams with miscellaneous tasks to ensure workflow efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications
