JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for machine setup and operation of Roll Thread machines with little to no supervision ensuring quality standards are met for the assigned machine group. Continuous improvement of processes and products are an ongoing function of this position.
These positions are on 1st and 2nd shift.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up and operate equipment as trained.
  • Follow all safety rules.
  • Perform inspection checks to monitor the quality of all parts.
  • Perform the duties required to record data for SPC, ISO/QS documentation.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area.
  • Move material by operating forklift or using non-motorized devices.
  • Suggest process improvement ideas.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and or Team Lead.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years experience operating a variety of sized Roll Thread equipment.
  • HSD/GED or equivalent experience
  • Good Mechanical Aptitude
  • Ability to perform basic math

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Experience operating: Hartford, Kyoei, and SEMS
