Their primary role is to generate leads and connect interested homeowners or businesses with solar consultants or sales representatives. This position requires strong communication skills, persistence, and an understanding of solar products and services. Successful appointment setters can significantly boost a company's sales pipeline and help increase the adoption of solar energy.

Job description

About the Company

National Renewables is a residential solar and home efficiency company. Founded in 2014, we have continued to expand across the Southeast and are expanding our Colorado location! We work alongside utility companies and local government to facilitate net metering and home efficiency programs in response to the increasing demand for power.

We conduct home energy evaluations and show qualified homeowners the options available specifically to them. Our goal is to support customers in improving their financial position and enhancing their overall relationship with their electricity usage. We specialize in residential solar and home efficiency improvements, including LED lighting, smart thermostats, and attic restorations.

Our Development Program

We have a consultative development program focused on effective communication. Appointment setters go door to door and are assigned to designated residential areas that have been surveyed and canvassed, where they are responsible for going door to door educating and informing homeowners about current changes with utility companies. All appointment setters are W-2 employees with guaranteed hourly pay of $20 per hour, plus an incentivized commission structure. On average, reps earn two to three times their hourly, with full-time reps earning over $1,800 per week.

As a company we prioritize internal growth and consider our appointment setter role to be the optimal entry level position for anyone looking to progress within the organization. From this role, team members have the opportunity to advance into a variety of career paths, including:

  • Sales
  • Project Management
  • Recruiting
  • Leadership
  • Customer Care
