Mechatronics Technician

YOUR TASKS
  • Installing and configuring mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment as per specifications and requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in mechatronic systems, which include mechanical, electrical, PLC, and pneumatic and hydraulic components.
  • Performing routine maintenance and preventative measures to ensure the longevity and optimal functioning of mechatronic equipment.
  • Interpreting technical diagrams, schematics, and drafts to understand equipment and system operation.
  • Developing and implementing optimized solutions for irregularities and malfunctions in mechatronic systems.
  • Working closely with the engineering team to assist in the design and development of automation systems and machinery.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures related to mechatronic and industrial automation systems.
  • Documenting work activities, including data collection, reporting and maintaining detailed records for inspection, tracking, and compliance purposes.
  • Providing training and technical support to work colleagues and end-users when required.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technological advancements, industry standards, and best practices in mechatronics.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Starting Hourly Range: $31.80/hr-$32.80/hr (based on skills)
This position is for C shift-11pm-7am
Must Have:
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, agricultural, industrial, military, or technical environment.
Ability to diagnose equipment issues using a logical, systematic approach.
Basic mechanical aptitude and experience working with machinery, tools, equipment, or automated systems.
Basic electrical knowledge, including understanding of sensors, motors, switches, relays, and common industrial components.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, or technical documentation.
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies, processes, and equipment.
Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Preferred (Training Provided)
Experience with PLC-controlled equipment.
Exposure to industrial robots or automation.
Vision system experience.
Pneumatic or hydraulic systems experience.
Preventive maintenance experience.
Manufacturing or automotive industry experience.
Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent hands-on experience.
