Job description

Job Title: Associate Sales Director, Edge AI & Robotics

Compensation: $140,000 - $170,000 base before commissions and bonus

About this position

Our Edge AI and Robotics sales team is looking for an Associate Sales Director to lead a growing team while driving strategic revenue growth in one of Advantech’s fastest-expanding market segments. This role combines hands‑on selling with people leadership and high‑level engagement with our silicon partners. It is a strong fit for a seasoned sales professional ready to shape both a territory and a team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and grow a sales team (currently one direct report, with planned expansion) while carrying an individual sales quota
  • Own combined team and individual revenue targets
  • Drive strategic engagement with silicon partners, including partner discussions, joint account planning, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
  • Develop and execute account strategies for customers in edge AI and robotics applications
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity tracking using CRM software
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with product management, field application engineers, and business development to deliver complete solutions
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of sales or business development experience in embedded computing, edge AI, robotics, or related technology hardware
  • Experience managing, mentoring, or leading sales team members
  • Experience engaging semiconductor or silicon partners in strategic discussions and business reviews
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer and partner engagements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • Established relationships within the silicon partner ecosystem (e.g., NVIDIA, Intel, Qualcomm)
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms such as Salesforce
