This position operates within a fully remote setting, utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with clients across varying demographics. The role promotes flexibility while allowing counselors to provide therapeutic services and support without the constraints of a traditional office environment. You will work closely with a collegiate team, ensuring a collaborative approach to client care driven by evidence-based practices.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms, delivering psychotherapy services tailored to the requirements of individuals, couples, and families.
• Provide weekly supervision and mentorship to practicum students in their clinical training, equipping them with the essential skills to succeed as emerging mental health professionals.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive care that addresses both psychological and social factors influencing their wellbeing.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation following all healthcare regulations and organizational policies to ensure the integrity of patient data and continuity of care.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, techniques, and best practices in psychotherapy to enhance the quality of care delivered to clients.

As a Mental Health Counselor at the Behavioral Foundation Center, you will serve a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents to seniors, with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping them navigate life's challenges through personalized therapeutic interventions.

• A bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is mandatory.
• Current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Two years of professional experience in mental health counseling, particularly in outpatient settings.
• Professional liability insurance to safeguard both your practice and your clients.

• Experience in providing supervision or mentorship to trainees in clinical psychology programs.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for virtual counseling.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others.

• An annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, alongside a sign-on bonus of $3,000.
