  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive care that addresses both psychological and social factors influencing their wellbeing.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation following all healthcare regulations and organizational policies to ensure the integrity of patient data and continuity of care.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research, techniques, and best practices in psychotherapy to enhance the quality of care delivered to clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at the Behavioral Foundation Center, you will serve a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents to seniors, with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping them navigate life's challenges through personalized therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is mandatory.
  • Current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Two years of professional experience in mental health counseling, particularly in outpatient settings.
  • Professional liability insurance to safeguard both your practice and your clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing supervision or mentorship to trainees in clinical psychology programs.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for virtual counseling.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others.
Compensation and Benefits

We recognize the invaluable contributions of our counseling team and offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • An annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, alongside a sign-on bonus of $3,000.
  • All outpatient work conducted in a collaborative group practice model.
  • A robust full benefits package, including health, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, and paid parental leave.
  • Generous paid time off, including holidays and personal time, to ensure a strong work-life balance.
  • Unlimited earning potential with commission options for additional services.
