EOC Audio is a leading provider of custom residential and commercial AV solutions, specializing in smart home technology, home theaters, whole-home audio/video, conference room systems, and integrated automation. We pride ourselves on delivering high-performance, user-friendly systems tailored to each clients lifestyle or business needs.
We are looking for a Commercial AV Programmer with hands-on experience in Crestron, QSC (Q-SYS), and Shure systems someone who can not only program and commission systems but also build and troubleshoot racks with precision and pride.
This is a technical, client-facing role that demands a deep understanding of signal flow, programming logic, DSP configuration, and real-world integration challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Program and configure AV control systems (Crestron), DSP platforms (QSC Q- SYS), and audio networks (Shure, Dante)
Perform on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting in commercial environments
Read and interpret system drawings, signal flow diagrams, and technical documentation
Collaborate with project managers, system designers, and field technicians
Create and adjust user interfaces (touchpanels, scheduling panels, etc.)
Ensure systems are deployed according to scope and perform reliably post- installation
Maintain clear documentation, update code repositories, and support system updates or revisions
Provide client training and support post-install as needed
Travel to job sites locally or regionally, often during standard business hours (some flexibility required)
Required Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on commercial AV programming experience
Proficiency in Crestron (SIMPL, Studio, or NVX), Q-SYS Designer, and Shure Designer/Audio Ecosystem
Strong troubleshooting skills signal flow, IP networking, control communication, and power systems
Familiarity with Dante, AV-over-IP, and commercial-grade networking
Ability to work independently and as part of a field deployment team
Strong written and verbal communication for both internal documentation and client-facing roles
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Preferred Certifications (Highly Valued)
Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP or equivalent)
Build, wire, label, and test professional-grade AV equipment racks
QSC Q-SYS Level 1 or higher
Shure Integrated Systems Certification
AVIXA CTS or CTS-I
Dante Certification (Level 13)
