Job description

Join a compassionate multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing health care in the Midwest region. This part-time, day-shift role involves providing comprehensive medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment within family medicine.
Role Overview
As a Family Medicine Physician, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients following approved protocols and standards. You will deliver medical services and health education to patients and their families, encouraging personal responsibility for health management. Your duties include performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, interpreting clinical information, and developing appropriate care plans.
Responsibilities

  • Provide quality patient care while adhering to health, safety, and aseptic standards.
  • Recognize and respond to environmental safety factors related to patient care.
  • Offer patient education regarding care environment and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate regularly with care teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure appropriate referrals.
Education and Licensure
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the relevant state.
  • Federal and state DEA licenses as required.
Experience and Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential job functions including effective communication and visual acuity.
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and teamwork.
  • Compliance with safety regulations and healthcare standards such as CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA.
