This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Two shifts available:
  • Days: 12-hour shifts - 7am-7pm
  • Nights: 12-hour shifts - 7pm-7am
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the CHS Post Procedure - Medical Step-Down is responsible for providing care to post procedural and Med/Tele patients. This role requires a dedicated professional with robust clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a step-down unit.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families about post-procedure care and health maintenance.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association.
