Commission Golf Simulator information

What is a commission golf simulator?

Commission golf simulators are advanced systems designed to replicate the experience of playing golf in a virtual environment. They use high-tech sensors, cameras, and software to track a player's swing, ball trajectory, and other metrics, providing realistic feedback and immersive gameplay. These simulators are often used in commercial settings, such as golf training centers, sports bars, or entertainment venues, where owners or operators earn commissions or fees from usage. The commission model means that revenue is typically shared between the simulator provider and the venue operator based on usage or bookings. This allows venues to offer a popular activity without the full upfront investment in equipment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a golf simulator sales representative?

To excel as a Golf Simulator Sales Representative, you need strong sales acumen, knowledge of golf equipment and simulation technology, and typically a background in sales or sports equipment. Familiarity with CRM software, golf simulator systems, and often a valid driver's license for client visits are valuable. Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills help you connect with clients and close deals. These abilities are crucial for effectively matching customer needs with the right products and driving sales growth in a competitive market.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in commission-based golf simulator sales, and how can they be overcome?

Professionals in commission-based golf simulator sales often face challenges such as fluctuating income, staying motivated during slower sales periods, and keeping up with evolving technology and customer preferences. Success in this role requires proactive lead generation, effective relationship-building with clients, and continuous learning about the latest simulator features. Collaborating closely with marketing teams and participating in product training sessions can help overcome these challenges, leading to greater sales success and job satisfaction.

Job description

Lending Force is a Top 25 broker with United Wholesale Mortgage, with offices in Troy, Michigan; Miami, Florida; and Tempe, Arizona. We're hiring a Recruiter to run hiring for our Troy sales floor.

We're hiring in volume and we intend to keep doing it. Our floor runs licensed loan officers alongside a paid-training class that feeds it, and both are growing. This seat owns hiring for all of it โ€” sourcing, screening, and getting strong people through the door quickly.

Our own employees rate us 4.6 out of 5 across 57 reviews โ€” the highest of any mortgage company in Troy. You'll be recruiting for a company people actually like working at, which makes this job considerably easier than the last one you had.

What You'll Do

  • Own full-cycle hiring for our loan officer and loan officer trainee roles โ€” sourcing, screening, scheduling, offer
  • Work an inbound queue that's already full, and call candidates the day they apply, not the week they apply
  • Source outbound on LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed โ€” both seats are paid for and waiting
  • Run phone screens that actually predict who survives a commission floor
  • Partner with sales leadership on what "good" looks like and hold the bar
  • Keep the pipeline clean and the data honest, so we know which sources are worth the spend
  • Build the bench โ€” stay in touch with strong candidates who aren't ready yet

What You Get

  • $60,000 โ€“ $95,000 base, plus commission on placements โ€” you get paid when people you hire stick
  • LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Premium Plus, already licensed. You will not be asked to recruit for free.
  • 401(k) with a 4% company match
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • A hiring manager who answers the phone, and a role with a clear path into leading the function as we grow

Troy Headquarters

  • On-site gym
  • Hair salon and barber
  • Golf simulator
  • Pool tables

What We Need

  • 1+ year of full-cycle recruiting โ€” agency or in-house, both count
  • Comfortable on the phone all day. This is a high-volume, call-heavy role, not a coordinator seat.
  • Experience hiring for commission-based sales is a strong plus; mortgage experience is not required
  • Organized enough to keep 90 candidates straight without losing anyone
  • Able to work in person at our Troy office, Mondayโ€“Friday

The Details

Full-time, on-site at 50 W Big Beaver Rd, Troy, MI. Mondayโ€“Friday, 9:00 AMโ€“6:00 PM. This is not a remote role. If you've been running someone else's requisitions to someone else's quota, come run ours.
