Description


The Golf shop staff is a seasonal position, and candidates are expected to work a minimum of 3-4 days per week with at least one weekend day. Additional hours may be required during tournament weeks. Applicants are preferred to have knowledge of golf and prior retail experience. All golf shop employees must also value being part of a strong team-oriented culture. Candidates with ideal experience might be considered for a full-time position in 2027.


Responsibilities


  • Work directly with the Director of Golf, Head Professional, Assistant Professionals, and staff in all aspects of the golf and retail operation.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be organized, adaptable and capable of making informed decisions.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and create a positive retail experience.
  • Answer phones, assist with tee times, and providing information regarding club events, tournaments and golf services.
  • Must handle opening and closing procedures in compliance with the Club’s policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Golf Professional Staff with the Golf Shop’s visual appeal. Ensure the layout is attractive to encourage customer engagement and sales.
  • Address challenges promptly, makes decisions to resolve issues and help improve operations.
