Job description

At the heart of product innovation and development, our Systems Engineering Department transforms market demands into safe, certifiable, and competitive solutions and architectures. By collaborating closely with software, hardware, safety, and certification teams, we ensure every product meets the highest standards while adapting to fast-evolving market needs. Our mission is to enable seamless human-robot collaboration and deliver solutions that are safe, compliant, and ready for the future. Join us to shape the next generation of human-robot systems by owning system-level requirements, integration, and alignment, with architectural responsibilities as needed. If you thrive in cross-functional teamwork and technical excellence, you’ll find extraordinary opportunities with us.

Your Mission & Challenges
  • The Bridge: Drive product success by converting customer and product needs into structured, traceable system requirements. Participate in system architecture definition; lead architecture for product lines where applicable.

  • Collaborate and Align: Allocate requirements to subsystems and define interfaces ensuring alignment across mechanical, electrical, software, controls, AI and perception domains. Drive cross-disciplinary coordination to ensure coherent system behavior and compliance.

  • Drive Integration: Define and support system verification, validation, and certification strategies, including test plans and acceptance criteria.

  • Own System Scope: Establish and maintain key systems engineering artifacts, including requirements specs, architecture, interface definitions and traceability documentation. Contribute to technical reviews, design reviews, architecture reviews, and product lifecycle milestones.

  • End-to-End Execution: Support execution and system integration and performance validation throughout prototype and product phases. Facilitate smooth transition from development to production and field deployment.

What We Can Look Forward To
  • Education: MSc or PhD in Robotics, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. 3+ years of experience is a plus.

  • Track Record: Experience developing complex robotic systems in multidisciplinary environments or other related complex safety-related autonomous systems. Solid understanding of system integration, lifecycle processes, and collaboration with architecture teams. Knowledge of robotics software frameworks and middleware.

  • Background: Expertise in requirements management and system architecture tools. Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) for system architecture and traceability. Solid understanding of system integration, lifecycle processes, and cross‑function collaboration.

  • Cross Functional Experience: Good grasp of mechatronic components, robotic hardware architecture, sensors and robotics software frameworks and middleware (e.g., ROS/ROS2 or similar).

  • System Safety Mindset: Experience with functional safety, cybersecurity, and certification standards relevant to robotics and mechatronics (e.g., ISO 13849, ISO 10218, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434).

  • Personal Driver: Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills in cross‑functional teams. Comfortable working in agile or scaled development environments.
