About the Role
We are seeking a highly strategic Senior Financial & Data Analyst to help drive enterprise-wide performance visibility, financial insights, and data-driven decision-making. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Analytics, and Operations, serving as a key partner to senior leadership. You will lead the development of scalable analytics, enhance financial and operational reporting, and provide insights that directly influence business strategy and execution. While heavily data-focused, this role also brings a strong grounding in core finance processes including revenue, AR/AP, and financial close support.
What You'll Do
Strategic Financial & Business Analysis
Analyze financial, operational, and commercial performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Support executive decision-making through actionable insights and scenario analysis
Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes
Provide analytical support across revenue, margin, working capital, and cost drivers
Advanced Reporting & Data Analytics
Design and deliver executive dashboards and KPI reporting to drive business visibility
Develop scalable analytics solutions using Power BI, SQL, and Excel
Standardize data definitions, metrics, and reporting frameworks across functions
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across financial and operational reporting
Sales & Revenue Analytics
Own analytics related to sales performance, pricing, and incentive compensation
Identify trends impacting revenue performance and recommend optimization strategies
Core Finance & Process Support
Support financial close processes through analysis, validation, and reporting (including revenue and key balance sheet areas such as AR/AP)
Partner with Accounting on data integrity, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy
Enhance visibility into cash flow drivers, working capital, and operational efficiency
Automation & Continuous Improvement
Automate manual reporting processes and improve data workflows
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to enhance data infrastructure and reporting capabilities
Drive continuous improvement in analytics tools, processes, and data accessibility
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner across Finance, Accounting, Sales, Operations, and leadership teams
Translate complex business problems into analytical frameworks and solutions
Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to a wide range of stakeholders
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field
5-8+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, business intelligence, or data analytics
Strong foundation in financial concepts, including revenue, margin, and working capital
Experience supporting financial reporting, close processes, or accounting analytics is a plus
Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, modeling) and strong SQL capabilities
Experience building dashboards and analytics solutions in Power BI or similar tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
Experience with sales compensation or incentive analytics
CPA, MBA, or equivalent certification
Exposure to data warehousing, ETL processes, or cloud analytics environments
Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or multi-location businesses
