Job Title: Medical Support Assistant

Specialty: Radiology Administrative/Patient Support (non-clinical)

Site: VASNHS, Radiology Department

Location: 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89086-4400

Duration: 1 year contract with the option of 4 one-year extensions

Shift Schedule: Days, nights, and weekends

Credentialing/Onboarding Time: 6–8 weeks

Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association)

Special Skills Needed:

  • High-volume inbound/outbound scheduling calls
  • Electronic Medical Record data entry/consult management
  • Customer service and de-escalation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and prepping exams
  • Check-in/registration
  • EMR note-taking and consult referrals
  • Front-desk open/close procedures
  • Supply/CD/form management
