Annual Salary: $65,000 This position will remain open until business needs are met
Description of Duties:

Under the direction of the Substance Abuse Manager:

Helps to support and develop implementation of Arizona Management System (AMS) metrics and standards throughout all areas of work

Provide input and support for development of statewide strategies on issues related to substance abuse and child well-being

Develop Requests For Grant Applications - including planning, process flow, stakeholder engagement and timelines

Review reports from PC and CALP grantees and provide feedback as necessary

Monitor and update all CALP contract files with the assigned Grant Auditor

Monitor and update all PC contract files with the assigned Grant Auditor

Plan and prepare commission meeting agendas, dates, and presentations

Research prevention programs and strategies for PC funding purposes

Coordinate and facilitate CALP meetings or calls with CALP grantees

Responsible for developing vendor and grantee contracts for CALP

Coordinate and facilitate PC meetings or calls with PC grantees

Responsible for developing vendor and grantee contracts for PC

Provide assistance with the contracted PC statewide evaluator

Oversee the Child Abuse License Plate (CALP) grant portfolio

Track service provider's contracts and monthly invoices

Track and update PC contracts into the GOYFF database

Oversee the Parents Commission (PC) grant portfolio

Attend task force and committee meetings as assigned

Develop, prepare and deliver grantee orientation

Communicate with PC commission members

 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Must have superior writing and verbal skills, ability to work with professional staff, facilitate group-planning processes and work with all levels of personnel from all levels of government

Position requires a minimum of 3 years of knowledge in the following areas: the concepts of youth and community substance abuse prevention/intervention; local/State related trends; program planning and design; and overall grant management

Ability to work with diverse individuals and multi-disciplinary teams

Ability to travel in state to complete program site visits

Positive attitude and team player

Excellent attention to detail

Selective Preference(s):

Bachelor's (BA or BS) degree minimum
