Job description

Company Overview Shred With Us is the Southeast’s leading information security and document destruction firm. Since 1999, we have provided high-security shredding services for the most security-conscious organizations in the world, including the Federal Reserve Bank, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the IRS. We operate across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, delivering onsite and offsite destruction solutions that ensure our clients remain compliant with federal and state privacy laws.

The Role We are seeking a high-performing Route Service Representative / Area Lead to join our Operations team. This is not just a driving job; you are a Security Technician and the primary face of our company. You will be responsible for managing a dedicated service route, ensuring the secure chain of custody for sensitive data, and building long-term trust with our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Secure Service Delivery: Execute daily routes to client sites, performing onsite mobile shredding or secure collection for offsite destruction.
  • Compliance & Integrity: Maintain strict adherence to NAID-certified security protocols and provide clients with Certificates of Destruction.
  • Route Ownership: Manage and optimize your assigned territory to improve route density and service efficiency.
  • Client Consultation: Act as a professional representative of Shred With Us, identifying client needs and maintaining "Total Customer Satisfaction."
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy-duty mobile shredding trucks and industrial equipment.

Requirements (The "Meat and Potatoes")

  • Experience: Proven track record in route-based service, Direct Store Delivery (DSD), or multi-stop logistics.
  • Licensure: Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR is required. CDL Class B is highly preferred and directly impacts starting compensation but not required.
  • Professionalism: Punctual, dependable, and honest. You must be able to represent the company to high-level government and corporate officials.
  • Work Ethic: An "owner mindset" with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Ability: Must be capable of the physical demands of the role, including moving and lifting heavy security consoles and bins.
