Dillard University, classified by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education as a balanced Arts and Sciences sciences/ professions institution, located in the culturally rich and diverse city of New Orleans, Louisiana invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of IT Tech Teacher Assistant in the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), for the Summer 2026.


STEM Achievers Program (SAP)

IT Technology Teacher Assistant

Qualification(s):

At least 1 year or more completed at an accredited institution in the STEM areas: Computer Science/ Information Technology or Technology related areas.

Job Description:

This is a seasonal full-time position. This position reports to the Director of The STEM Achievers (SAP) Program.

Job Requirements:

This person will assist the STEM Achievers Program Technology Teachers and STEM Achievers Program participants as needed. This includes but not limited to: Coding/ Circuit, Application Development, Virtual Reality/ Augmented Reality, Robotics, 3-D Printing/ Additive Manufacturing/ Modeling and all other STEM Achievers Program technology activities.

Deadline:

Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the positions are filled. The positions begin May 2026.
