ACS Consultancy Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect โ€“ Java/JBoss Middleware Consultant for an onsite consulting opportunity in Tallahassee, Florida.

The selected consultant will support enterprise middleware platforms, Linux and Windows server environments, JBoss infrastructure, Java-based enterprise applications, web services, APIs, and internal web applications. This role requires strong experience with enterprise application support, JBoss administration, middleware technologies, and production support in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and maintain Linux Servers, Windows Servers, GitLab Servers, and JBoss EAP environments.
  • Maintain and support JBoss Fuse services, QuartzDesk, Java-based applications, internal web applications, and enterprise integration services.
  • Develop and maintain Web Services and APIs.
  • Assist with upgrading and replacing JBoss EAP servers and custom batch processing systems.
  • Troubleshoot middleware, infrastructure, and enterprise application issues.
  • Support enterprise architecture and application integration initiatives.
  • Coordinate with technical teams, administrators, and stakeholders.
  • Provide weekly project status updates and reporting.
  • Support production deployments, maintenance activities, and operational support tasks.
  • Follow security standards, compliance procedures, and access control policies.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong experience with Java and JBoss technologies.
  • Experience supporting Linux Servers and Windows Servers.
  • Experience with GitLab Server administration and CI/CD concepts.
  • Experience with JBoss EAP, JBoss Fuse, and QuartzDesk.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and Web Services.
  • Experience supporting enterprise web applications and middleware platforms.
  • Knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and production support environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and system administration experience.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or public sector IT environments is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience supporting enterprise middleware and Java-based application environments.
  • Experience with enterprise server administration and application integration.
  • Ability to work independently in production support environments.
