As a Security Officer Access Control in Hartwell, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. In this customer-facing role, you will help to deter incidents, assist visitors and staff, and use technology as part of daily duties. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and other security-related activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and other restricted areas, as work environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
