The Commercial Roofing Service Sales Representative is responsible for generating new service and maintenance opportunities, managing a consistent sales pipeline, and closing deals that support regional growth goals. This role focuses on service and maintenance sales, requiring a professional who can build lasting relationships with commercial clients, work closely with estimating and operations, and sell on value while protecting margins.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Development & Prospecting

  • Prospect and develop new commercial roofing service and maintenance opportunities across assigned territory
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of active opportunities
  • Conduct site visits, roof inspections, and client meetings to identify project scopes

Sales & Estimating Collaboration

  • Prepare and present proposals and value-based solutions to commercial customers
  • Partner with estimating and operations to ensure accurate scoping and smooth project delivery
  • Close sales while maintaining target gross margins

Customer Relationship Management

  • Grow long-term relationships with building owners, facility managers, and general contractors
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates and reliable sales forecasts

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of commercial roofing sales experience OR 5+ years of B2B construction sales with a proven track record
  • History of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems and scopes of work
  • Disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting
  • Ability to sell on value and protect margins
  • Strong communication, organizational, and client relationship skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites regularly

Preferred

  • Existing relationships with building owners, property managers, or GCs
  • Experience with CRM platforms for pipeline and activity tracking

Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and location.

US Pay Range
$60,000—$80,000 USD
