Job description

Location: Pocatello, ID (with occasional site visits across Idaho and Utah locations)

About CCX Roofing LLC
CCX Roofing LLC is a growing, professional residential and commercial roofing and exterior services company serving Idaho and Utah. We specialize in asphalt, membrane, and metal roofing systems as well as a full range of siding options. We are committed to quality workmanship, customer education, safety, and continuous improvement through structured processes (EOS/Traction). As we expand to additional locations, we’re looking for a detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team and help drive operational excellence.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, office-based Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial roofing and siding projects from handoff through completion. This role focuses on planning, coordination, cost control, and team performance in a professional office environment, with occasional field visits for site assessments and quality checks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all phases of roofing projects (asphalt shingle, membrane/TPO/EPDM, and metal roofing systems) and siding projects (metal, vinyl, Hardie/fiber cement, and LP SmartSide/engineered wood) from the office.
  • Manage internal crews and subcontractor relations, including scheduling, performance oversight, and coordination.
  • Handle vendor relations, material ordering, procurement, and delivery tracking.
  • Perform job costing, budgeting, and financial tracking to ensure projects stay on budget.
  • Track and report on KPIs (key performance indicators) such as schedule adherence, production efficiency, cost variance, and quality metrics.
  • Ensure full compliance with building codes, permitting requirements, and local regulations in Idaho and Utah.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, change orders, and documentation using computer-based tools.
  • Conduct occasional site visits for quality control inspections, progress assessments, and issue resolution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, sales team, production crews, and leadership — providing clear communication and proactive problem-solving.
  • Support company growth initiatives, continuous improvement, and EOS processes (scorecards, rocks, etc.).

Qualifications
Required:

  • Proven experience managing or supervising projects involving asphalt, membrane, and metal roofing systems.
  • Strong experience with siding installations including metal, vinyl, Hardie (fiber cement), and LP (engineered wood) products.
  • Demonstrated success in contractor/subcontractor relations, internal crew management, vendor management, material ordering/procurement, and scheduling.
  • Solid working knowledge of job costing, budgeting, KPI tracking/reporting, and project financials.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with construction software, spreadsheets (Excel), project management tools, CRM systems, and reporting platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable building positive relationships with clients, crews, and vendors.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to make occasional site visits between Idaho and Utah locations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (construction management, project management, or related coursework/degree is a plus).

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Production Manager, or Superintendent in roofing, siding, or exterior construction.
  • Experience in a fast-paced office environment supporting field operations.
  • Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA) and fall protection best practices.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.
  • Paid time off and holidays.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement in a rapidly expanding, multi-location company.
  • Supportive team environment focused on safety, quality, integrity, and structured processes.
  • Office-based role with modern tools and resources to support efficiency.

CCX Roofing LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We value experienced professionals who take ownership, deliver results, and thrive in a collaborative office setting.
