Job description

Equifax is where you can power your possible. If you want to achieve your true potential, chart new paths, develop new skills, collaborate with bright minds, and make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.
As a Product Manager for Commercial Risk, you will own some of Equifax Commercial's most consequential products-the tools that empower businesses to gain vital access to capital. You will sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, collaborating with the broader product team to distill complex stakeholder feedback into intuitive, next-generation risk solutions.
What you'll do
  • Drive Product Strategy: Own the lifecycle of core commercial risk products, ensuring they meet market demands for capital accessibility and risk mitigation.
  • Translate Vision to Design: Partner with stakeholders to refine feedback into actionable designs and technical requirements for the next generation of Equifax tools.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work within a highly matrixed environment to align engineering, sales, and data science teams toward a unified product roadmap.
  • Solve Complex Problems: Use data-driven insights to understand user pain points, defining the "what," "who," and "why" behind every feature to maximize ROI.
  • Modernize the Portfolio: Lead the transition and expansion of products into cloud-based environments, ensuring scalability and performance.

What experience you'll need
  • Education & Tenure: Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) with 5-7 years of Product Management or Business Analyst experience in Tech, FinTech, or Data & Analytics.
  • Agile Proficiency: Proven track record of managing products within Agile or structured project management frameworks.
  • Requirement Excellence: Mastery in writing detailed product requirements that clearly articulate problem-solving goals and business value.
  • Technical Familiarity: Practical experience delivering cloud-based products and services within a product-led organization.
  • Tooling: Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as Aha!, Jira, and Figma.

What will set you apart
  • Design Thinking Practitioner: You don't just build; you innovate using personas, empathy mapping, and rapid prototyping to solve real-world needs.
  • Matrix Navigator: You have a "velvet glove" approach to leadership, successfully coordinating efforts across diverse, cross-functional global teams.
  • Commercial Risk Subject Matter Expertise: Deep curiosity or prior experience in the mechanics of commercial lending and credit risk.

We offer comprehensive compensation and healthcare packages, 401k matching, paid time off, and organizational growth potential through our online learning platform with guided career tracks.
