Position Overview: Element Risk isseekinga motivated and client-focusedInsurance Advisor– Direct Sales / Inside Salesto join our growing team. This role will focus on handlinginternal leads, referral opportunities, small commercial lines accounts, and select personallinesopportunities.The ideal candidate is an insurance professional who enjoys building relationships, responding quickly to new opportunities,identifyingclient needs, and placing coverage with theappropriate carriermarkets. This position iswell-suitedfor someone who is organized, sales-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a steady flow of inbound leads and referrals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Sales & Lead Management:

Handle internal leads and referral opportunities from producers, account managers, centers of influence, and existing clients. Respond promptly to new business opportunities and gather required underwriting information. Qualify prospects and identifyappropriate coverageneeds. Manage opportunities frominitialintake through quoting, proposal, binding, and handoff to service. Maintaintimelyandaccuratedocumentation in the agency management system and sales platform. Follow up consistently with prospects, clients, carriers, and referral sources. Cross-selladditionallines of coverage whenappropriate.

Small Commercial Lines

Quote and place small commercial accounts, including but not limited to: Business Owners Policies General Liability Commercial Property Business Personal Property WorkersCompensation Commercial Auto Inland Marine / Tools & Equipment Professional Liability Umbrella / Excess Liability Cyber Liability Review current policies and declarations pages toidentifycoverage gaps, pricing concerns, and remarketing opportunities. Work with carrier underwriters to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage options. Prepare coverage comparisons and professional proposals for clients. Explain coverage options clearly and professionally.

Personal Lines

Handle select personal lines opportunities, including: Homeowners Personal Auto Umbrella Collections Boats Motorcycles Other personal lines exposures Quote new personallinesopportunities and cross-selladditionalcoverage whereappropriate. Review current coverage and make recommendations consistent with Element Risk standards.

Client Experience

Provide a consultative sales experience focused on coverage, education, and client needs. Build trust with prospects and clients throughtimelycommunication and professional advice. Clearly explain coverage options, carrier differences, pricing, and next steps. Ensure a smooth transition from sales to service after binding.

KEY SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:

Enjoysinside sales and working with warm leads. Is responsive, organized, and proactive. Can balance speed with accuracy. Understands the importance of both sales production and client experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Performs duties independently with little or no supervision, operating from established directions and instructions. Decisions are made within general agency constraints and insurance laws, and require independent decision-making.The position involves daily contacts with customers and carriers, which encompasses information exchange, problem solving, quoting, and/or negotiations, significant contact with customers to collect information on any changes to the customer’s characteristics and to analyze the customer’s continued exposure and tolerance to risk, as well as review coverage options and risk management/prevention strategies.Thorough technical knowledge of personal and commercial lines insurance, including an understanding of commercial insurance forms and risk alternatives. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS:

Active Property & Casualty insurance licenserequired. Small commercial lines experience preferred. Personallinesexperience preferred. Strong understanding of commercial insurancecoveragesand underwriting information needed to quote small business risks. Experience with agency management systems and sales platforms preferred. Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple opportunities at one time. Comfortable working with inbound leads, referrals, and cross-sell opportunities. Self-motivated, accountable, andsales-oriented. Strong attention to detail and ability to document activity accurately.
