Property Manager - Commercial Position Overview

Mark IV Enterprises is looking for a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Commercial Property Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in real estate or commercial property management who wants to develop hands-on experience in leasing, tenant relations, and property operations.

In this role, you will work closely with our Chief Operating Officer, Director of Commercial Maintenance, General Counsel, construction team, and other members of the leadership team. You’ll have the opportunity to learn the commercial leasing process from experienced professionals while taking an active role in working with prospective tenants, brokers, and existing tenants.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable in a sales-oriented environment, and is eager to learn and grow within the commercial real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the leasing and day-to-day coordination of Mark IV’s commercial properties in partnership with the Director of Commercial Maintenance and Chief Operating Officer.
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants and commercial real estate brokers regarding available spaces.
  • Show available commercial spaces to prospective tenants and brokers and provide information about the properties.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing tenants and commercial brokers.
  • Assist with the leasing process, including gathering information, preparing proposals, coordinating communications, and following transactions through to completion.
  • Work with the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and General Counsel to develop appropriate lease terms for prospective tenants.
  • Coordinate with the construction team on tenant build-outs, helping communicate tenant needs and lease requirements and tracking progress.
  • Serve as a point of contact for tenants and help coordinate questions, requests, and property-related needs with the appropriate members of the Mark IV team.
  • Maintain accurate and organized leasing, tenant, and property information.
  • Assist with marketing available commercial spaces and developing relationships with local businesses and commercial brokers.
  • Stay informed about the local commercial real estate market and learn about current rental rates, property types, and leasing trends.
  • Provide administrative and organizational support for the commercial leasing and property management functions as needed.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in real estate, property management, sales, customer service, business, or a related field preferred (real estate experience preferred but not required).
  • A bachelor's degree in business, real estate, marketing, communications, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional, personable, and comfortable interacting with tenants, business owners, brokers, and prospective tenants.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
  • Comfortable learning new systems, processes, and aspects of commercial real estate.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on assignments.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Why Join Mark IV?

This is more than an administrative role. It’s an opportunity to build a career in commercial real estate while working alongside experienced professionals and gaining exposure to leasing, property operations, construction, finance, and legal aspects of commercial real estate.

You’ll have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as you develop your knowledge and experience, with the support of a team that values collaboration, professional growth, and initiative.
