Pape-Dawson's Atlanta office serves as a regional hub for our Georgia team, supporting clients across the Southeast with deep local insight and access to statewide resources. As a full-servicecivil engineering company in Atlanta, our professionals support projects from early due diligence and site feasibility through design, coordination, and permitting, working closely with teams across Georgia to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

Built on the strong foundation and local relationships established by Eberly & Associates, the Atlanta office continues a legacy of service while bringing the expanded capabilities of Pape-Dawson to the region.

We are seeking a full-time PE licensed Project Manager, Site Development based in our Atlanta office. This position will lead the project design, client communication, permitting, and management on a wide range of commercial development projects. The Project Manager will collaborate in-house with other civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors to assist our clients in developing public, private, and mixed-use projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and actively participate in the design, plan production and permitting for land development projects.

  • Lead and mentor a group of technical professionals - engineers and technical support- to serve our clients well

  • Engage in the proposal and client agreement development and execution

  • Develop trusting professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders

  • Be respectful of client time-lines through effective coordination of project tasks, budgets and schedules

  • Champion the professional development of each member of a project team according to each member's individual goals and career path

  • Seek guidance from other leaders; be open to suggestions in various aspects of project management

  • Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizations

  • Additional related duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).

  • 5+ years of experience in site design, planning, and project management

  • Extensiveknowledgeof design and construction practices which, by passing on that knowledge to others will aid in your success

  • Proven ability to effectively and respectfully communicate, both oral and written skills, with all level of employees

  • There may be times when working overtime is necessary
