We are seeking experienced Landscape Crew Leader / Drivers for our San Antonio, TX location. The Landscape Crew Leader is responsible for leading a landscaping crew, operating company vehicles, and ensuring high-quality work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role requires hands-on landscaping experience, leadership skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a landscaping crew on daily job sites
  • Drive company trucks and trailers to and from job locations safely
  • Perform and oversee landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, mulching, and debris cleanup
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations
  • Assign tasks to crew members and provide on-the-job training
  • Load, unload, and maintain landscaping tools and equipment
  • Enforce safety procedures and proper use of equipment
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding job progress, issues, and material needs
  • Complete daily job reports and time tracking as required
  • Maintain a clean and professional job site at all times

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid driver's license & a clean driving record
  • Proven experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance
  • Previous crew lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to safely tow trailers and operate landscaping equipment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance

Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of plants, turf care, and landscape practices
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment
