Job description

Equal Parts is building the next-generation insurance agency. We're a founder-led, tech-driven company creating an AI-powered infrastructure to modernize how insurance agencies operate at scale - so teams can spend less time navigating complexity and more time delivering real value to customers. Our ambition is to become the fastest-growing insurance brokerage in the country by combining acquisitions with scalable, technology-enabled growth.

We are looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support the servicing and renewal experience for our commercial insurance customers as part of a centralized service organization. This role is critical to delivering a consistent, reliable customer experience - especially at key moments like renewals, mid-term changes, and coverage updates - while enabling scale, quality, and operational rigor across the business.

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will work directly with customers and internal partners to execute core servicing activities, applying strong insurance judgment, attention to detail, and clear communication. You'll play a key role in ensuring work is completed accurately, on time, and in line with established processes and service standards.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who takes pride in precision, follow-through, and delivering dependable service in a team-based operating model.

What You'll Own
  • Execution of commercial insurance servicing activities across assigned workflows and customer touchpoints
  • Direct interaction with customers on policy questions, endorsements, certificates, and coverage-related needs, as appropriate
  • Support for the renewal process, including:
    • Outreach to gather updated exposures and requirements
    • Coordination with carriers and internal partners
    • Clear, timely communication to support renewal decision-making
  • Key servicing touchpoints across the policy lifecycle, including mid-term changes, renewals, audits, and claims support as needed
  • Accuracy and timeliness of policy documentation, endorsements, and invoicing
  • Identification of coverage gaps, changes in risk, or service issues, with appropriate escalation
  • Close collaboration with producers, operations, and other service team members to ensure smooth execution and handoffs
  • Adherence to defined processes, compliance standards, and SLAs to ensure consistency and quality
  • Ongoing input on recurring issues, process gaps, and customer pain points to help improve service delivery over time
What Success Looks Like
  • Servicing work is completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with defined standards
  • Renewals are supported smoothly, with clear communication and minimal friction
  • Policies, endorsements, and documentation are consistently accurate and complete
  • Internal partners trust you to execute reliably and escalate issues appropriately
  • Risks, issues, and customer concerns are identified early and addressed proactively
  • Customers experience consistent, dependable service regardless of who completes the work

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of experience in commercial insurance account management or servicing
  • Active resident state insurance license required
  • Solid understanding of commercial lines coverages and the commercial policy lifecycle
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a structured environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Clear, confident communicator who can explain insurance concepts to customers and internal partners
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-based servicing model
  • Process-aware and compliance-minded, with sound judgment around risk and escalation
  • Adaptable and steady in environments where tools, workflows, and scale are evolving
Nice to Have
  • Experience working within a centralized servicing or shared services environment
  • Exposure to agency management systems and modern insurance tooling
  • Prior experience supporting mid-market or complex commercial accounts
  • Familiarity with SLAs, service metrics, or renewal performance tracking

Benefits

For eligible employees, Equal Parts offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and financial stability, including:

  • Major Medical Health Insurance with employer premium contributions
  • Voluntary benefits including dental, vision, supplemental life, disability, and accident coverage
