We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional to join our North America Commercial Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with key stakeholders across Ecommerce, Retail, Wholesale and Gym channels, helping drive sales growth, profitability and strategic decision-making across one of our most important regions.
As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you'll combine financial expertise with commercial insight, providing data-driven recommendations that influence business performance and support ambitious growth plans.
THE ROLE
Working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager, you will act as a trusted business partner to commercial teams across North America. You'll support forecasting, budgeting, performance analysis and investment decisions, ensuring the business has the financial insight required to maximise sales, margin, inventory health and profitability.
This role requires someone who is confident challenging stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights, and influencing decision-making at all levels of the organisation.
WHAT YOIU'LL BE DOING
Commercial Finance Business Partnering
  • Support the delivery of periodic forecasts and budgets for North America P&Ls.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure forecasts are accurate, robust and submitted on time.
  • Deliver meaningful financial analysis that drives process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Provide financial guidance and challenge to support informed business decisions.
  • Monitor and report on key commercial and financial KPIs.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of presentations and insights for senior leadership.
  • Develop conclusions and recommendations on a variety of commercial and financial issues.
  • Partner with Commercial teams to identify and implement initiatives that protect and create value.
Ecommerce
  • Deliver insightful analysis of sales, margin and inventory performance.
  • Monitor progress against budgets and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations to North America planning teams based on commercial performance trends.
  • Challenge assumptions within forecasting and budgeting processes, with a particular focus on inventory health.
  • Support periodic reforecasting and budgeting up to Gross Margin level.
Retail, Wholesale & Gyms (IRL)
  • Deliver periodic forecasts and budgets up to EBIT level.
  • Analyse performance across Retail, Wholesale and Gym channels, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and work with commercial teams to deliver improvement plans.
  • Conduct store and gym investment feasibility assessments.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand investment requirements and expected returns.
  • Carry out post-investment reviews to assess performance and inform future decision-making.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of finance experience within Retail, Gym, Consumer Products (CPG) or FMCG environments.
  • At least 2 years' experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience presenting financial information to senior leaders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to challenge stakeholders and drive commercial improvements.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience gathering, interpreting and transforming data into actionable insight.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • CPA or equivalent professional finance qualification.
  • Experience supporting omni-channel businesses across Ecommerce, Retail and/or Wholesale.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and identifying financial risks and opportunities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to simplify complex information and develop innovative solutions.
  • Experience working within high-growth, entrepreneurial businesses.

SALARY RANGE
This role has a salary range between $103,000 - $129,000. The base pay offered is based on market, experience, and skills.
