Description
The Driver (Non CDL) is responsible for the delivery of insulation products to scheduled job sites based on a provided schedule. This will include ensuring on-time delivery and professional interaction with customers at delivery sites. This associate will assist with all warehouse functions as well as the loading and unloading of trucks.
Responsibilities:

  • Performs daily pre-trip inspections, including pre-inspection forms and completes minor maintenance if needed.
  • Reports any mechanical or maintenance related issues to the Division Manager in a timely manner.
  • Performs shipping and receiving duties, including data entry of orders, verifying quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing materials, and documentation.
  • Completes daily logs in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
  • Ensures the customer's signature on the receipt of material and collects on COD charges when specified.
  • Ensures correct inventory by verifying material counts for accuracy.
  • Pulls, stages, and loads outgoing material orders.
  • Reports any issues to the Division Manager that were discovered at the job site.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • One year of verifiable experience driving a straight truck (26' box truck, automatic transmission or similar vehicle), required.
  • Ability to receive and maintain a med card, required.
  • Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. and climb in/out back of the vehicle.
  • Driving Duties. As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider's requirements.
