Job Summary

A Senior Mobile Technician works under limited supervision and performs maintenance services and repairs in a complex, skilled area including but not limited to; plumbing, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs and/or installations. Responsible for conducting daily inspections of property sidewalks and parking lots/grounds and performs minor repairs and maintenance to maintain a safe facility.

Job Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs routine site inspections toidentifyand take corrective action for potential safety concerns,referringmore complex situations to higher levels.

  • Assistsothers by performing a variety of routine manual labor tasks including but not limitedto;lifting and moving materials,loadingand unloading vehicles.Mayassistwith office moves and staff relocation.

  • Performs skilled work in general maintenance and minor repair of buildings and equipment including repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities.

  • Preservesappearanceoffacilityby performing routine exterior cleaning ofsidewalkand parking lot.

  • Keeps facility and office safe from casualties by removing any obstruction, parcels or debris from walkways and doorways.

  • Assesses maintenance and repair, referringcomplex situations to higher levels.

  • Trains, assigns tasks, and provides guidance and leadership tolower levelGeneral Maintenance Technicians.

  • Applies mastery of skills throughprocedures, technique, tools, materials, and/or equipment asappropriate toarea of specialization.

  • Conducts routineinspections todeterminemaintenanceworkrequired.

  • Maintains,inspectsandinventoriesall equipmenttoinsuresafe and efficient operation.

  • May act as a liaison with outside vendors.

  • Requisitionsnew supplies and equipment.

  • Compiles schedules for special assignments.

  • Maintains knowledge of and performs all workin accordance withOSHA guidelines.

  • Participates in internal and/or outside training as mandated by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:

  • Education levelrequired:High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.

  • Minimum experiencerequired:4+ Yearsconducting buildingrepair and maintenancework.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Maintenance facilities experience ina senioror lead level capacity.

Job Competencies:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.

  • Knowledge of, and the ability to apply mastery of skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment asappropriate toarea of specialization.

  • Knowledge of safetyprocedures asrelated to maintenance functions.

  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines.

  • Strong mechanical skills.

  • Computer literate with basicproficiencyin internet navigation, word processing, spreadsheet applications.

  • Good communication, coordination, customerserviceand leadership skills.

  • Mustpossessa valid driver's license witha good drivingrecord.

  • Ability to drive a company-owned vehicle to various geographic locations as assigned.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbsunassisted orassistingothers (with or without) using mechanical equipment.

  • Ability to work in an environment with exposure to dust,dirtand various weather conditions.

  • Ability to occasionally work outside andoperateseasonal equipment (e.g.snow blower, grass cutter, gas generators).

  • Ability to work "on-call" and/or a flexiblescheduleas necessary.

  • Expected to travel to corporate offices and/or branch locations in assigned footprint
