Intuit’s Global Strategic Sourcing team is at the forefront of a data-driven sourcing organization. The team is responsible for driving commercial excellence, speed, and innovation by partnering across Intuit’s 3rd party ecosystem to deliver enterprise value in a digitally advanced, data-driven sourcing function.

Reporting to the VP of Stock, Treasury & Procurement, the Director of Strategic Sourcing Marketing and Corporate Services leads a high-impact organization driving strategies across services, media & marketing, customer success operations, and the physical supply chain. This leader will serve as a trusted commercial advisor to senior leaders across Marketing, Customer Success, Corporate Services, and Finance and support major business units including QuickBooks, Mailchimp, TurboTax and Credit Karma. 

This executive will be responsible for an approximately $5B in total spend, and manage a team of more than 30 FTEs and 37 Contract Workers.

  • Own the end-to-end category strategy and execution for enterprise-wide categories, including Media, Agency, Events, Content Production, Facilities, Professional Services, Contingent Labor, and Benefits.

  • Design and implement data-driven sourcing strategies that balance cost, speed, quality, and innovation.

  • Lead and negotiate complex, global agreements, focusing on total value and mitigating supplier risk.

  • Serve as a trusted commercial advisor and partner to VP+ stakeholders and senior leaders across Marketing, Customer Success, Corporate Services, and Finance.

  • Align sourcing strategies directly to enterprise goals for growth and margin.

  • Manage and optimize strategic supplier relationships to drive innovation, performance, and accountability.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team , developing organizational and team member capabilities in category management and strategic sourcing.

  • Leverage analytics, automation, and modern sourcing tools to enhance visibility, decision speed, and digital fluency.

  • Define and implement process improvements that reduce cycle time, deliver efficiency gains, and ensure compliance with policies.


Qualifications

Qualifications
  • 12+ years of progressive strategic sourcing or commercial leadership experience.

  • 5+ years of management experience, with a demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, develop, and retain an outstanding strategic sourcing team.

  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing for Marketing and Corporate Services categories (like Media, Agency, Professional Services, and Contingent Labor) at a global scale.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience leading complex, high-value negotiations.

  • AI-Centered Approach: Demonstrated experience championing AI and automation across the sourcing function to drive faster decisions and reduce manual effort

  • Strategic and Global Mindset: Ability to align sourcing strategies to enterprise goals and manage a broad, complex portfolio of categories within a fast-paced, dynamic organization.

  • Strong Leadership: A collaborative, innovative, and enterprise-minded leadership style. Solid leadership skills and ability to develop a high-performing team recognized for innovation and commercial excellence.

  • Communication & Influence: Excellent executive communication skills. Proven ability to partner with and influence VP+ stakeholders and senior leaders , with an outstanding ability to collaborate with business partners.

  • Digital Fluency & Agility: Comfort operating in analytics- and automation-enabled environments. Evidence of adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset to drive process improvements.

Mountain View $247,000 - $334,000
San Diego, CA $235,000- $318,000
