Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

BMO Stadium is hiring a full-time Safety Supervisor. This position is responsible for carrying out all safety-related tasks.

This role reports to the Manager, Safety and Security.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Oversee BMO Stadium officers and security command post operations including, but not limited to, coordination of employee breaks, stadium patrols and assigning daily post orders.
  • Responsible for ensuring the safety of all visitors at BMO Stadium.
  • Manage daily pass-down sheets and communication between shift supervisors and ensure officers are briefed accordingly prior to their shift.
  • Maintain a high level of communication within the department regarding event details and shift change.
  • Supervise and manage safety operations of daily events in the stadium, including but not limited to, walkthrough metal detector (WTMD) relocation, hand wand and WTMD batteries inventory, post-event sweeps of stadium, facilitate locker trailer bag requests, and manage Lost and Found inventory.
  • Manage Safety Department equipment inventories including, but not limited to, keys, walkthrough metal detectors, hand wands, divesting tables, credentials, and radios.
  • Develop event day packets and deployment sheets, as necessary.
  • Assist in event day execution.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school degree required, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must have a current valid guard card.
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in a security related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Workspace Programs (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, ect).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with an ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience with C-Cure or Avigilon software is a plus.
  • Ability to stand/walk with limited assistance for a minimum of 5 hours. 
  • Ability to withstand various weather elements such as high temperatures and rain. 
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as the event calendar requires.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

SALARY RANGE 

At LAFC, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine a fair and equitable compensation package. The final offer amount will consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience and training. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure guidelines, the compensation for this role is $26.00 per hour.Â
