Job description

This COMMAND AND CONTROL SPECIALIST position, is located in the Wing Command Post (Command and Control Section) of a Rescue Wingand is part of the CA 129 RQW.
This is an open until filled announcement. The announcement will be posted until all positions have been filled. Applications will be reviewed every 30 days and you will receive an email regarding your application status when reviewed.

Qualifications:General Experience: Possess experience, education or training in interpreting and applying published directives or regulations; and experience communicating with others.
COMMAND AND CONTROL SPECIALIST, GS-2101-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level experience in mission planning for preflight, in-flight, ground or command and control (C2) duties according to specific transportation functions; experience in receiving, interpreting, extracting and disseminating relevant data for mission planning or execution and experience in coordinating and negotiating with organizations/personnel both orally and in writing to resolve differences/problems.
