This role is ideal for a strong corporate paralegal or governance professional looking to step into a broader, enterprise-facing position with meaningful ownership over legal entity operations and governance.

Here you can:

Legal Entity Compliance & Filings

  • Prepare and file annual reports and other statutory filings to maintain entities in good standing
  • Track and manage compliance deadlines across a large portfolio of entities
  • Support regulatory filings and responses to governmental or compliance-related inquiries
  • Provide corporate support in connection with litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters

Legal Entity Data & Systems

  • Manage and maintain the corporate legal entity database, the enterprise system of record for legal entity data
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates to ownership, governance, and structural data
  • Generate organizational charts and entity reports for internal stakeholders
  • Partner on system initiatives, including enhancements and data integrity efforts

Operations & Vendor Management

  • Oversee billing and invoicing for key corporate secretarial vendors in coordination with global counterparts
  • Review and process filing expenses and vendor invoices to ensure timely payment

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a key resource to Legal and business teams on matters relating to:
    • Corporate governance
    • Legal entity structure
    • Execution of corporate actions
  • Support entity formations, restructurings, and dissolutions by coordinating required governance documentation
  • Assist with corporate documentation required by internal stakeholders and external regulators

Scope

  • Primary responsibility for NBCUniversal’s U.S. and Canadian legal entities
  • Works closely with global Corporate Secretary team members across Europe and other jurisdictions
Qualifications

Here you'll need:

  • 4+ years of experience in corporate governance, corporate secretary, or legal entity management
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. corporate governance and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing corporate filings, minute books, and legal entity records
  • Experience working with legal entity management systems preferred

What we'll look for:

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment

This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the New York, NY or Universal City, CA office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
