Job Summary

This job leads cross-functional teams in evaluating strategic business opportunities and potential partnerships within assigned market sectors. It oversees financial modeling and analysis processes to assess market positioning and investment potential. The job directs comprehensive business planning initiatives while mentoring team members in strategic assessment methodologies.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Leading cross-functional business development teams in evaluating strategic opportunities, partnerships, and potential acquisition targets
  • Managing detailed financial modeling and analysis processes to assess market opportunities and market-aligned positioning within assigned sectors
  • Developing comprehensive business plans and investment proposals through collaboration with finance, legal, and operational stakeholders
  • Coordinating market research initiatives to identify emerging trends, market dynamics, and potential growth opportunities within target markets
  • Supervising the creation of deal summaries, valuation analyses, and presentation materials for senior management review
  • Implementing structured approaches for evaluating business opportunities, including cash flow projections and break-even analyses
  • Mentoring team members in conducting environmental scans, organizational assessments, and strategic positioning studies
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key internal stakeholders to align business development initiatives with organizational objectives
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
